Whether it’s through simple observation or guided learning, we all have so much to gain from nature’s education—and we are here to facilitate exactly that!

If you’re looking for an adventure that goes beyond sightseeing and you’re intrigued by the idea of learning new skills while immersing yourself in breathtaking natural environments, then look no further than our outdoor education course with Evelyn.

  • Students, Olympic Backpacking, July 2021

They did very well in caring for us, but also letting us be independent and lead the group through long hikes and make our own decisions. I felt supported by my trip leaders because they are both very experienced with backpacking and I felt safe because I knew nothing big was going to go wrong. They were both confident and encouraged us through the hardest parts of the trip.

I didn't ever think of technology during the trip, there were a lot of other things to do. Especially during my solo, I was able to do lots of things I haven't done in a while, such as draw a lot in my journal and play with sand.

They were very supportive and did a good job keeping the group motivated and together, even when levels of individual experience varied.

SUSTAINABILITY THROUGH REFORESTATION

Our planet thrives on healthy forests, and Patagonia is a prime example of that. Forests filter the air we breathe and mitigate climate change, prolonging the time we have to enjoy the beauties of the world unscathed. Sadly, deforestation threatens this delicate balance. At Crux Expeditions, we believe in giving back.

That's why we're proud to support reforestation initiatives by giving every traveler a chance to plant the seeds that will one day grow into the lungs of the world—or to donate to that same cause.
