The UNESCO National Park Torres Del Paine is the place to do amazing trekking in Patagonia. This reserve of the world has more than 100 km of trails passing for over 1000 msnm. The mountains are composed of magnificent granite and sedimentary rock formations.
At the same time turquoise colours of lake and glaciers are part of the scenary. Each of the mountains and valleys has it's own microclimate with incredible Nothofagus forest and unique animals. The clouds, the rain, and deep silence followed by wind are the spirit of this area.
Arrival in Punta Arenas Airport or Puerto Natales Airport
Transfer to Puerto Natales from Pta. Arenas,three hours by bus via route 9 and from Pto. Natales, twenty minutes
Grey Glacier and Grey Reugio
Transfer into the NP Torres del Paine, around 2 hrs. We will take a boat navigation on Grey lake followed by 5hrs. of ice hiking on the Grey glacier
Trekking to Pehoe Lake and Refugio Paine Grande
4 hrs. of hiking along the edge of Grey Lake until Pehoe Lake
The French Valley and Los Cuernos
7-9 hrs. of hiking into a stunning valley with large granite walls and hanging glaciers. Retturns down at the same valley and hike to Refugio Cuernos
Ascensio Valley and El Chileno
From Los Cuernos we are going hike 5 hrs along to Nordenskjold lake and towards the Torres del Paine. Two night at the Chileno Refugio
6-8 hrs. of hiking more into the Ascencio valley and then climbing into a large moraine filled at Silencio valley, seen by only a few park vistors, with excelent views of the towers and other granite walls
Base of Torres del Paine and Departure
5 hrs. round trip hike to the base of the towers for views of these incredible granite formations followed by a descent from Acension Valley to Estancia Paine,then transfer back to Puerto Natales or conection with your next destination
